Management of Emotions
Anger is a natural emotion that all of us experience. A mild form of anger may include displeasure, irritation or dislike. When we react to criticism, threat or frustration, we may become angry and this is considered to be a healthy response. Anger may be a secondary response to feelings of sadness, loneliness and fear. When anger becomes full blown rage, judgment and thinking can be impaired. In such cases, you are prone to doing or saying things that are unreasonable and irrational. Anger management is a process of acquiring the skills to recognize your triggers to anger and help you to express or manage it appropriately. It helps you be more aware of yourself and channelize thoughts, actions and responses better.
